Ereğli Commodity Exchange was established on June 19, 1968. As of the date of its establishment, it is one of the oldest Stock Exchanges among the surrounding Provincial and District Stock Exchanges.
Our stock exchange has a total of 9,400 square meters of real estate on the Adana road, opposite the Er-Su Fruit Juice Factory in Ziya Gökalp District.Our new service building, which was built on an area of 3000 square meters, which was started to be built in 1998, was completed and put into service in 2002.
On the 1st floor of our Service Building, we have a lobby section that will meet all kinds of needs of our merchants, as well as a laboratory service to analyze products such as Cereals and Pulses, and a sales hall where sales are carried out by bringing together the producer and the trader to determine the real market values of these products according to the laboratory results.
The 2nd floor of our stock exchange is the Administrative part.

Our electronic scale, which was established in 2008 to better serve our farmers and members, is actively serving.
In 2005, laboratory devices and fully automatic sampling probes required for the laboratory were purchased. The grain, which is taken untouched by a fully automatic sample probe, is determined according to the free market economy in our sales hall by making physical and chemical analysis values in the laboratory environment and determining the value according to their results.
Our stock exchange participates in all social activities that may be beneficial to our Ereğli District and the people of Ereğli as a social activity, and provides and realizes all kinds of financial and moral assistance. The most important of these is education and training. For this purpose, higher education students whose financial situation has been insufficient for about 15 years have been given free education scholarships.

Thanks to the joint entrepreneurship of our District Governorship and Stock Exchange, Bağkur and SSK branches were brought to Ereğli in order to provide better service to the people of Ereğli and the members of the Stock Exchange. Regular aids are provided every month for the internet, telephone and chambermaid salary of the Ereğli SSK Branch and the Ereğli Bağkur branch.In 2007, under the leadership of our Ereğli Municipality and our Stock Exchange, a protocol was signed in order to improve Ereğli Milk production, and with this protocol, the Municipality and the Stock Exchange carried out studies on the Organized Animal Zone to be established on 5,200 decares of land in today's Adabağ village area on the Ereğli-Karaman road, within the Ereğli Municipality combat area and on the border of Karaman Province, in order to bring modern dairy facilities to Ereğli. In these studies, during the physical structuring of the organized animal site, the architect of the shelters and buildings related to dairy cattle breeding was covered by our stock exchange. A cooperative was established under the name of HAYKENT, and the treasury land, which was started to be built and an area of 5,200 decares, was transferred to the Municipality.
Organized Animal Zone (Haykent); Ereğli will be the most important center of milk production in Turkey. It is calculated that one thousand tons of milk production will be realized per day in terms of capacity. With the launch of 300-350 enterprises, the amount of breeding animals in the region will reach 30 thousand. It will be an exemplary structuring for Turkey's livestock to reach EU norms and in the production of A quality milk and related products. With this project, an employment environment of 5 thousand people will be created in Ereğli, as well as 150 million YTL per year. Therefore, a production input will be provided. In our stock exchange, a computer equipment has been established in accordance with the requirements of the age in terms of technology. All transactions on our stock exchange are carried out via the internet.

Dear Members, Esteemed Fellow Citizens,
As Ereğli Commodity Exchange, we continue our efforts with a mission that guides the economic life of our city, supports our producers, and contributes to the development of trade. Drawing its strength from its members, our Exchange continues to play an active role in the development of regional agriculture and commerce with its growing structure and innovative approach.
We are making great efforts to ensure that Ereğli, the heart of agriculture and livestock, utilizes its potential in the most efficient way, that our producers receive fair value for their labor, and that our members operate under more competitive conditions. With a transparent, fair, and participatory management approach, we move forward together with our members.
By closely following technological advancements and adapting to digital transformation, we develop projects to make the services we offer more accessible and effective. At the same time, we place great importance on increasing our members' knowledge and competencies through educational activities.
Our main objective as Ereğli Commodity Exchange is to act with a vision that considers not only today but also the future, and to ensure that our producers and traders take stronger positions in national and international markets.

Zekeriya Ünlü was born on 19.03.1966 in Ereğli District of Konya. Zekeriya Ünlü, who started his commercial life after his primary and secondary school education, still carries out the buying, selling and slaughtering of live animals.
Zekeriya Ünlü was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the organ elections held in June 2013 and won the Presidency of the Stock Exchange in the organ elections held in 2018. Zekeriya Ünlü, who is still the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Ereğli Commodity Exchange, also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Ereğli Beet Planters Cooperative and a Member of the Board of Directors of Konya Ereğli Barrier-Free Tomorrows Association.
Zekeriya Ünlü is married and has 4 children.
